There is an annual 10-day fair opera in Dharamsala, which takes place on the second saturday of April.

9 km up from Kotwali Bazar Dharamsala is the famous town Mcleodganj often called the ‘Little Lhasa’. This is the residence of HH the Dalai Lama.
